A Dark Sea – Changing Before the End

I estimate that we have about 6-8 sessions maximum before the Campaign is finished now. My goal is to finish at chapter 20 and then have an epilogue chapter afterwards. Anyhow, some changes will occur now.

The pace have already changed somewhat and strange things happen almost every session. Not that it haven’t been like that to begin with but what I say now is that everything that happens now will have a big impact on the characters.

The latest session we came to character crossroads. PB chose to take his life with Lainathiel to return as a Xin’Ar. This is actually an reincarnation of Lainathiel who is named Xia’Lel¹. I will soon write most likely a post on the blog with some essential information to PB about this transformation and what it will mean.

Ghan, Daniel’s character, is quite damaged. In many, many ways. He have been heavily disturbed by various events which almost made him crazy. If things escalate too much before the end he’ll probably end up a tad crazy in the head. Maybe so much I’ll have to take his character from him. We’ll see. Also the latest session Ghan recieved massive damage to his legs and will probably be a cripple. A session even earlier he lost his dwarven racial ability in exchange for the elven racial ability Elven Senses and also he exchanged his speciality with the same elven mage so the former Dwarven Warrior is not essentially an Elven Mage. This though will provide a unique possibility, assuming he survives the campaign. I already know how the end result will look like later if he survives. It will be an awesome asset to Captain Ronald’s crew I tell you that.

Demius, Tocke’s character, have just made a pact with a very dangerous beast. A beast which hypnotized him and seems to posses some mental abilities and powers. I can tell you that this beast is not to be triffled with and is a very unique and very powerful being that is very hard to kill. I’ve also given Tocke a secondary choice to consider now recently and depending on which option he chooses things will change and the outcome of the campaign will differ quite much, as well as Captain Ronald’s final first crew.

The next session will prove somewhat interesting I hope and even though not everything went as I wanted the last session everything went within acceptable parameters and I still have my plans and my gameplan in hand.
