Quest One – Integration

I’ve been thinking it over and I’ve decided upon some in-game decisions your characters have made. This is not only for the Quest but actually foremost for the future and especially after the Quest. If you disagree with my decisions and my setup, please discuss it with me. Preferably here if you don’t want to take it in private.

Well, your characters have decided after coming to Grandicka that the city is so huge, and has so much to offer you all that hanging with each other will actually be counter-productive rather than efficient. Ethen needs some peace and quiet to study and he also needs to focus on his empathy which has been severely de prioritized lately. Besides the Quest his ability to control his strange abilities are key to your survival which you’ve all started to understand recently.

Ivilh has mostly gotten over her crisis but there is still a lot to figure out and explore. Her bond to Avian is powerful both for her and Avian but she needs to explore it further. She has few objectives and it all seems jumbled up. She hasn’t really lived. Like a woman, like an elf or even like an Druid. To grow and become something more, she needs to expand her understanding and become more at peace with herself.

Durin have recently had many big revelations. He is very mortal, and his mortality have never seemed so present as now when his heart and the scar below his ribs is reminding him off every day. He is mildly famous and his title Bullhorn, doesn’t seem to want to go away. He has a lot of training to do, but also finding faith and learning more about being a dwarf.

Aedys has a lot to do and recent event with her father and all the matters concerning Lublei and Rambull is still dwelling in her mind. But also all the opportunities ahead. Like Ethen she has needed to de-prioritize her dreams and needs but now, being in Grandicka, a world of opportunities await. Not to mention, learning how to master her battle skills even better. Knowing her limitations.

Hugon is probably the most forlorn of the five. Being chased by a Wet Boy, determined to see him dead as he sees Hugon as a dent in his pride. He knows that Jinx is not far behind and he also knows that he cannot survive without a plan and more training. He will probably need help, from The Five or from somewhere else. But before that he needs to gain more control over himself.

With all this in mind, you all decide to split up, like you did once in Northford to avoid detection whilst hunting after Lawrence. This time though, it’s because you all need your space. You will still keep in regular touch, but if you are to grow and to have any chance with the quest you all need environments more suitable to your personal needs. With this in mind you all split up in the city.

Ethen seeks up a librarian to work for. While working like an librarians assistant with mostly clerical work, he might also be able to gain access to the Mystical Library Tower. He lives in a small but cozy room it the library together with the Librarian who owns the place.

Ivilh goes to live and learn more about Druid-stuff with a Druid-circle outside the main city. But frequenting the city for both training and social events.

Aedys gets a tower room, in the city with a view and some space. The rent is relatively high, but good for such a place. It’s also close to many good places where one could perform and popular to other Hannje, recommended by her agent.

Durin now lives in a cheap but sturdy dwarven dormitory filled with mostly workers and warriors. Most in the dorm know each other and most of them have been to or is from Lantor.

Hugon is back in the services of Pam and with the limited protection that means. Making friends in the underground and honing his skills of social, thieving, and  battle.

All of you have more or less your life provided. Ethen works for this librarian as well as other minor side-stuff. Ivilh does mostly druid-stuff living in nature spending a minimal amount (mostly). Durin works when he can, but mostly trains and spends time with the dwarfs in his dormitory. Hugion works for Pam.

I think that a part of the next session will be to clarify and make adjustments to the above mentioned changes as well as making progress. But as soon as I have the energy and time for it, I will start adding development-lists to your characters. And as soon as I do, I will need feedback and requests until we are fiarly satisfied with the list. The list will be individual but I will also like to have a priority number assigned to all the entries. This is mostly if I choose to give you free-training.

Well, well…
