The Mage Trio – Aftermath
So, tomorrow we’ll start on the last part of this campaign. The End Game. The aftermath is the beginning of the rest of their lives.
We’ll begin with the aftermath of two, separate events. The Odium failure and Jox arrival to Vin’Sangria.
I need reminders, and to start the discussion.
There are approximately 6 sessions tied to the actual campagin planned. Two of these possible double session, so say 8.
The first and last arc, will begin with a period of spellworking and rule-sorting. Mixed with this will be your freedom and some time to play around.

Alright, what reminders are you after exactly? I think you remember the big picture as well as I do. As for the details…
Well it’ll be easy enough with a verbal discussion I think.
Well, im kind of on the same page as Daniel here, I think all involved remember the big picture. But im quite sure at least that we ended with Zeon saving us with dark arts and bringing us out of there and we ended up on Vintia(?spelling) somewhere unknown to us.
We didnt play anything after that so.
Things the group lost as far as I can recall:
Rogarks runehammer and credence, but credence as I recall from an earlier post was on its way back.
I forgot the Rune Hammer actually.
Other than that, what I’m thinking of is what is left and what is going on within the group.
Just to list what you think is important and need to be dealt with this first/last arc to get a great resolution for these characters.
Things that I feel some need to get done and important before this last arc is this:
– Animism lvl 5(hopefully that includes some sort of scenario or something and not just.. you gain lvl 5. But im quite sure there will be some sort of scenario)
– Learning some more spells would be cool as well.
– Some more socializing with Chorster
– Reaching fully grown with my symbiot and learning some new tricks, also testing the spirit hold some more would be awesome.
– Another thing which I think would be cool is visiting the Gaia tree with an animist, or at least seeing it, so a trip to the capital of Katia would be something.
– Even though odium was a failure in many ways I think at least Katja after some thinking and such would probably want to revisit the island and trying to meet odium. Since this had to be done before credence plan to take over I dont exactly know when this would happen and such but it is something.
I didnt list Jox and things relatated since that feels it will happen anyway.
Well thats some of the things I thought about earlier. ill post more if I come up with anything
Oh yeah I came up with at least one more thing that I really want.
– That Katja becomes some sort of authority figure on the islands of Vin’Sangria since it will probably and already feels like her home and such. I guess this is something I will work for in-game aswell but yeah would be a nice touch I believe.
To me what’s really important (especially if I won’t be able to continue playing Taethilis) is resolving his curses.
Jox is the big obvious one, but even when he’s dealt with there’ll still be repercussions. Also, it would make sense to try to rid himself of Jox’s influence before having an actual confrontation, if that is possible I would like to do it. It seems like a good idea search for help in this, perhaps contact the church and see what they have to say about it. Failing that there’s the advice Wicca gave about finding a “Name giver” or whatever the term was, trying to become an elven vampire really isn’t on the table far as I’m concerned.
Other than that there’s the consequences of what happend on Lucius’ island. Specificly the matter of the consequences of my actions, this might be high or low priority (as I don’t know the particulars yet) but it’s on the list at any rate.
Perhaps least important of Taethilis’ agendas is resolving his old curse of impotency, however it, too, is on the list.
And then there’s the ‘technical’ and obvious bits we’ve talked about before; getting and using level 5 spells and also using the overdrive.
As for the idea of going back for Odium again, I feel that ingame it has lost a lot of the incentive for me/us to do it. More to the point, there’s more important things to attend to. I can’t see Taethilis going on the quest for Odium in the first place had he known the hold which Jox was getting on him (which obviously he does now). Unless of course, that was supposed to be a solution to said problem.
– I would like to finally wield my Maul. I’m not certain how much of the ball is on my side with that, if you know what I mean. Is it soley up to me to find a trainer?
– Some progression with Octal. We never finished the vote, if we would use Vampires or necromancy.
– A chance to reclaim my rune hammer, however the maul has priority over that, but if we ever return to Lucius’ islands.
