Updated Sheets

Hello all!

I haven’t written anything here for quite some time but today I’ve actually managed to do some work of consequence. I’ve updated the character sheets a little plus I’ve made two Extra pages which are optional if you prefer to keep track of things your own way. I suspect though that most of you would want to have at least the inventory page.

To make a post of this I will present each file separately down below.

Character Sheet – 6.98.2 – Standard
This is the updated version for the new system with some modifications. The PDF doesn’t look particularly good but as you’ve seen with your eyes it looks much better in reality. Well, enough about that, to the points of interest!

First page

  • On the first page I’ve added a new field below the Resistances for Capacities so you at least have a reference for all the energies that are vital to your character. I’ve divided them into Physical and Mental. AC and MC is there becuase if you run out of any of those you’ll probably die, hehe. Or at least reduce one of your PROs.
  • As a side-effect of the above mentioned change, Loyalties have been expanded with two rows. So now you can have 12 on that list. Interesting number, won’t you say? 😉
  • Since I changed the printing area I added rows between the skills. Looks better and less cramped.

Second page

  • Here I’ve added some new rows for Knowledge Skills and also instead of having separate header for that field I’ve dragged it out.
  • On the Corporeal Capacity-field I’ve added CC under the Stat column so you can write in the total amount of CC you have there to keep track on.
  • I’ve removed the Dedicated Slots-field and instead expanded the Techniques and Spells-field. I think it will be needed.

This is the sheet. I think it’s functional even though much is left for the players to write down in their own notes. But most of it is Inventory and Capacities the rest most of you keep track of in your notes. Even so I’ve made an Inventory Page.

Character Sheet – Extra – Inventory Page
This page is keeping track of well… your inventory, duh! I’ve added all the Capacities here as standard and two empty Check Boxes for other stuff. If necessary and you really need and want to I can modify this. But with modify I only mean to copy and paste, drag and drop stuff around.

  • I’ve changed so ALL1 is gone. This change is system wide. So no fields have this column anymore.
  • I’ve reduced the Carrying Capacity-field to only the bare minimum. Exactly how it will be counted is under construction but the same system as before is in use, and most likely it will only be an extension on that through BEL and possibly from somewhere else.
  • The Trinkets-field have been both expanded as well as a Description-field have been added.
  • Pouches have been expanded a little.
  • And in the end we have a small field for other inventories.

If needed you can have a whole page with only inventory. But I think you should try to make due with this if you want this paper and use your notebook for the rest. As for the Check Boxes that’s precicely what the last Extra Page is all about.

Character Sheet – Extra – Check Boxes
Well, well… what can I really say? If you need more Check Boxes this is the page you’ll probably receive. It has 24 regular Check Boxes á 50 boxes. And 6 half-sized Mini Check Boxes á 25 boxes. This should be possible for you to use for quite some time. I will use this to keep track on you as well as my modified version of this page that I call “Battle Page” which you’ve seen when we tried Twin Peaks in Adventure Mode. That features Status Effects as well as other small stuff that is good for a GM to have.

Anyhow. I’ve started to write over your character on the older version of the sheet. 6.98.1 and I will continue to do so today. If you wish to have the new formula I can write out a couple of new sheets but this time you’ll have to write over the stuff. And I prefer that everything is written down the way I want it and correctly and in a way that is viewable by all. Not in some scripture not even you can read.

As for the other sheets, I will probably write out a couple of both today, if you know now that you want one it would be great if you could write it here.

Well, what do you think? At least I wrote something of importance today! Jey!

Best regards,
Herid Fel

I must say that I hate the outspaced text. Maybe I should get to the root of the problem…

    *Sighs*

    Too much to do…

It looks good to me, maybe you could centre the second page of the sheet though? Looks a bit weird set to the left like that, would be more uniform centred.

I would like to have the inventory page, however I don’t think I have any need for the box page yet. It might be good if I had a lot of consumable items/charged trinkets, the two on the inventory page should be enough for now though.

Well, it looks better than 6.98.1, And I think I would like one atleast, might aswell have as updated sheet as possible.

As for the extra sheets well, I think both will come in handy.

As for the change of ALL, how are you planning on making the system for backpacks and such things?

    See you later

This is due to the fact that Character Sheets are written out in two pages, and with the holes on the left side that space is needed.

No system. You have a backpack so you can carry things. If needed I will have things disappear and destroyed due to carelessness.

    Well, well…

Looks quite good. When it comes to the trinket list, I think it might be more useful to combine the two columns (Trinket and Description) into one single column named Trinket. And then only have two Trinket columns, but wider ones. This makes it easier to enter information since now both are quite narrow.

Though it may look better to have it as it is now. So I’m not sure.

The unmarked checkboxes on the inventory page seem to be another color than the marked ones. Is this correct? Is this intentional or just an illusion on my screen?

This is correct. Usually I have Static boxes in a darker colour, and the ones that are modifiable in lighter ones.
