Livin’ in Japan

I’ve been thinking about where to stay and how much it can cost.

Drak is of the opinion that we should try to get a better place than Kita Urawa that is more central and at least have a proper toilet and beds. I myself is quite content with the quality of Kita Urawa even though I hate the so called toilet and that you become kind of disturbed by the constant pling plong sound from the train station. Even so, it would be really nice to not have to travel for 40-60 min to get to the city.

I’ve been looking and also have reserved a place at Yadoya Guest House it’s cheap. Pretty central compared to Kita Urawa and also you have internet which is something I’ve been trying very hard to get every time I’ve been to Japan.

Otherwise there are several Hostels. Sakura Hostel is one of the largest and also have a common rate for the rooms, around 200-250kr night.

I myself is flexible but I won’t go over 3,3k in total costs for accomodations. Or in yen, over 50 000 yen. More than that and I rather live in Kita Urawa. Especially since I’m going to buy the JR Rail Pass and then I can stand, as I’ve done all the times before this, to travel with train to and from the centre.

Any preferences or thoughts?
