The first session…

I must say that I feel a bit rusty.

I faltered too much and had to think a lot to make things work. My vision didn’t float out properly. But all in all I’m fairly satisfied with the result of the first session. It’s not easy starting to play again after this long but I’m fairly certain that we just need some practice before we are all back in shape. As more events unfold and the stage and the Area of the Academy unfolds it will most likely be easier. Step by step.

The next session I think I will start with some roaming, letting you explore your surroundings a little without confinement. Experiment the Bind Box Zeth put upon the Triquerta. Hopefully this will also prove a good time for Ankan and Andreas to somehow befriend the others for the first time. I will try to create some more NPCs to make a more living surrounding too. I started to sketch a little on the social structure and to make it a more hospitable area where you all lived. I must take it easy now in the beginning without too much information.

Anyhow it feels like Andreas still need some more footing before he can actually play his character. I must design the next session a little to guide him and help him to get into his role too. Even though I think things like that will be hard for me to accomplish right now I must try. The only way to get back in shape is to try and fail. And even if I fail it will still be something and I’ll be closer to my goal anyhow.

Well, the triquerta, “The Power of Three” is a way to create a fourth power form of magic. One consisting of all the three basic forms of magic. It will enhance and intertwine with each other in a way which will multiply and twist the power to something completely different. My vision for the group right now after reviewing your wishes and thoughts is to create a specialist mage squad, quite distinguished and separate from most other units of Mages. And also, like all powerful mages, quite independent in a way that makes them very sought after from the Academy and the Mages Council. And this Squad will probably have two friends and defendants, consisting of the Holy Priest Linhi and the Magical Utility Specialist Kailar.
