What a strange thing…

I think that nobody in The Eye-group can deny that this strange time-world is… well strange. The question is though, is this too hard for you maybe?

Like PB said this mini-campaign within another adventure will most likely drag things out quite long. My original setting seems almost a little bit too challenging for you guys. I don’t want to do all the work with NPCs, rather the opposite, I want them almost to be kept out of this. So I have a question and some suggestions, if you are willing to listen.

The first question is already stated. Do you think this setting of the scenario is too hard and takes too much time (without any real progress)? It’s quite okay if you feel that way since I know some frustration is out there. So if you think that it is, or partly is, then my question is if you would like to change the scenario or even skip it.

If you want to change it, I have an opening to change it for something easier to play and with a higher pace and more progress, in essence easier to realize how to do it, and why. Plus you will be limited to the three in the group. There also will be a good logical reason to this, so don’t worry about illogical changes or strange twists. I have a plan. Nothing will be reversed, but things will change from the point you are at.

If you skip it, it will have a logical reason to, and a consequence. This will of course once again be tied to your Star Crossed. Nothing will be reversed this way again, and you will all know that something really strange happened and you will have some clues to what. This though will be a setback for Jake and also tie all of you even closer to him. This also will lead to a revelation when you get back to the compound (if you get back) that Jake is star crossed. Also, the skipping part will not bring Langler back, nor will the event become any easier. You will be back where you started, only that you have defeated all monsters in the first area but still have two more areas to go.

If you choose to continue that’s fine too. But if you feel that we need a change I can try to pace it up a bit with minor changes instead of bigger ones. I will probably remove character sheets even to make this go faster and make it into a more adventure mystery part instead.

So what say you all?

Well, as for the difficulty, I dont know it doesnt seem that hard, but it kind of drags things out as mentioned earlier.

My vote is to change it or continue as it is.

If the original setting was too hard? hmm well in my opinion no.

I don’t want to skip it all together, not just because it is a setback for me. I made that decision before I read that part.

About changing it to something easier I don’t know though. Things are happening, but they might be totally wrong. Either way works for me I guess.

Well, a choice would be good though.

Continue with this harder form of it or change it to something more interesting, faster paced but easier to manage.

A clear choice if you please.

  4. Ankan says:

Then keep it as it is.

  5. Patrik says:

Nope, just slow, well if you want a clear choice I say keep it as it is.

    Keep it as it is.

Then we’ll continue with the same thing then.
