A Dungeon Bashing Day

I know this is actually a bit late coming with a suggestion like this but as earlier stated I was thinking about doing some whole-day shit to compensate for Anubis being cancelled. Well, I have some suggestions…

Some of these suggestions say that we play a scenario, with the same characters as you have made for Anubis, which is basically a Dungeon Bashing scenario. Some time ago I started to prepare a lot of different dungeons I wanted to make in a true “dungeon bashing fashion”. But of course – my way. The only one of these we’ve tried is Ukun’s Grave. And that’s the only one that’s finished at least. I’m thinking though that we can play one of the other which still is in their preliminary states tomorrow. I have a few we can chose from depending on how long we want to play (evening or whole-day) plus how hard we want it to be.

Or we could play a Cluedo-like scenario which I’m working on translating from dream to scenario. It’s still a little bit out there but I can play it mostly from my head and take notes on what works and not from the dream. This scenario you can too play the same characters and it’s basic objective is to find the exit. You’ll all be trapped basically and the only thing that really matters is to get out. The worst thing with that scenario is that only one can get out, even though you won’t know it in the beginning and in the end people will have to turn on each other. Even though it MIGHT – thus I do not deny the possibility nor do I confirm it but to keep things mysterious and interesting – be possible for more than one to exit the place. This is a big scenario in essence but on first trial I think I can play it as either a small session, a whole-day session or a campaign mode. Right now I want just whole or part day session. I might use it later when it’s finished and then it might be as big as Shangri La.

We could also play a moderate dungeon scenario where you also need to compete against each other. In other words social as well as PvP. Oh yes, the previous suggestion by the way is highly social even though it has a lot of combat and skill to it as well. This will be moderately social but more hectic and evil. The only ally you’ll have at the table will be me in contrast to regular sessions. I suspect many secret notes will be sent during this thing. This too I will most likely try to use one of my basic scenarios and think it up as I go and note and add to future reference.

The last alternative is that we play a what-if with The Eye instead and Ankan plays his character in an imaginary scenario to see if he would like to return or not. Which is the basic purpose of the events tomorrow by the way. To give him a chance of determine if he’ll join because if he’ll join again I might give him the opportunity to do so the upcoming week on one of the next sessions.

Well, I need your opinion as fast as you can give me them.

Best Regards,

I vote for an evening session atleast, and I think that I would like the “what if” with the Eye over the other choices.

The cluedo like one, I say.

I must say that if I were to vote, which I’m not, I would vote for that too. It’s the one with best perspective and also the one which I’m most eager to see how it would go for me to create and play out.

Well, since the purpose is to have fun and also a go for Ankan to see if he is up for more rpg in the future, my vote is on the first alternative.

And for me a whole-day is ok, both works.

Just wondering abit on the last alternative “what-if”, what kind of what if scenario would it be with the eye group?

A dungeon bashing, all except the cluedo-like session is dungeons.

Well I dunno, for me it doesnt matter that much really, since it seems that two people want the cluedo thing I guess I could go with that, it just felt abit “out-there” and maybe not fully made up yet.

Maybe Ankan has some preferences of his own?

I have everything played out in my head from a dream. In this dream though all my players were themselves in this and in the end you stabbed be to get at the exit, hehe.

He’s been notified and will answer when he see fits.

The choice for me is between the first and second alternative. Something like Ukun’s grave or Cluedo. My vote goes for Cluedo, sounds a bit different and I think I want to try it out.

I can do a whole-day session and evening session obviously also works. I prefer whole-day.

This was my last day at work, so next week I got a lot more time. No more of those time restrictions mentioned earlier, but unfortunately others begin school.

This makes three to one, so I guess we’ll play the Cluedo Mystery like thing.

Actually you can play any character you want in this scenario. Doesn’t really matter except for in the situation where you’re going to kill each other. But dying will be easy so it doesn’t really matter.

Well, see you tomorrow at 13:00 and we’ll play the Dream in Progress.
