Sleep the past days…
I’ve slept one to two times a day the past two days. Well, I would actually call it pass out rather than sleep. All to lack of energy. Usually I have a strict policy to never sleep more than once a day if I’m not sick. I rather exhaust myself than sleep too much if I can help it.
Anyway something very interesting has happened with my strange sleep. I’ve been having these deep uncontrolled dreams almost every time I close my eyes. They are very complex and one of them made me really look in awe at my own mind. I’m still astounded by the memory of the dream.
The amazing dream is something I’ve wanted to do and create and actually have tried a few times to do in role-playing as well as short stories. It was an intertwined story with several time perspectives where everything fit as a clockwork.
The dream is really long and complex but the gist of it was that a time phenomena from my world, Time Bubble, occurred in a real-life situation. The only difference though was that this created a time loop of four in a confined space affixed to four key individuals. This made the loop take four turns in the same space but also all the four loops effected each other or rather, had already effected each other.
The first loop seemed normal but everything that happened in that loop, seemingly without any logical explanation other than chance, had a very thoroughly explanation set in one of the three following loops. I’ve never experienced such an intricate and detailed dream before without me myself trying to create it. The closest I’ve got is a hugely mystery murder scenario in a big castle. Which I’m still working on for the moment but it will probably take a long time before it’s finished.
Well, just the memory might be enough to recount the dream as a short story but I seriously doubt that I’ll be able to really express how amazing it was. I’m an experienced dreamer, and I take pride in that, thus I’m certain that I can tell different things about dreams such as pre-perception and post-perceptional views. In some dreams you add an element to your dreams after it has happened to rationalize it later to make it fit. In others you just forget about it and let it slide thinking nothing of it since the dream dulls your senses. In other cases, such as this, it actually fits and nothing is altered. This was the case with this dream. Everything that happened in my first loop was explained in a wonderful way in the other loops.
Well, as I said… no matter how hard I’ll try I seriously doubt that you can understand how amazingly this dream worked. If this is my inner subconscious potential it’s really amazing. Though I want and at the same time don’t want to have that potential awakened in real life. It would be… dulling.
Best Regards,
