One good, one bad
The beta testing this weekend has had two different outcomes but even so I’m satisfied.
The first, on Saturday I didn’t get too much from. The battle went ahead to slowly and not much creativity was used. When you fight, no matter how much rules are applied some creativity and speed is essential to make a good fight not to mention that if we are to find different appliances you should also try to use more skills in more versatile ways.
Anyway the session on Sunday though was a great success. Even though we only had Rasmus and PB present it gave me more than any other beta testing session so far. We managed to pull off about three major fights and balance out some different types of opponents and also try a Battle Scenario I’m working on which will appear later in The Eye group when your characters have gained more strength and power.
Things are proceeding forward and I’m getting a better view of how skills are to work and how to optimize and make the fights more interesting in Nianze. Well, well, speaking of RPG, it’s possible that we’ll play on Tuesday evening since I might or might not be in Iocus during the day. Request to that session can be taken in any related post but as it seems like now it will be a free-roam session like the last one but with more stress on the life in The Eye as a solider and not the social part even though the social bit and Character Progression part will be essential.
