Air, Ghibli and a sunny day…

I started writing this yesterday – the day this happened – but for one reason or another I got distracted and didn’t finish it. I will try to finish it now, but I think there won’t be the same as if would if I had written it yesterday.

Well, today was the first day we both went outside the apartment for a longer while I think, since we both got sick that is. But I have no idea. Things have started to float together and it’s hard to keep track on things. Now mostly because it seems like all time is floating away even though we’re doing nothing.

Today though we went to the Ghibli Museum in Mitaka where we walked around and watched stuff that were on display and just mainly tried to find our way through the very unusual strange museum. It was over a little bit too quickly I think for my taste but that mostly is because something snapped in me when we were there. We were in the shop, Drak was buying things, when I suddenly got overwhelmed by some strange feeling which made things go dull. It quickly disappeared but I just didn’t have any more interest in the museum in general.

We sat at the café afterwards for an hour or so, Drak ordered parfait which proved itself to be more fruit than parfait which I once again think symbolizes the unlucky nature of Drak. I myself enjoyed some hot chocolate instead as I was thinking about how little of what we had planned that we actually have done. The Temple thing kind of messed up a lot and now we only have about 2 days left of our rail pass and after that we’re kind of stranded in Kita Urawa and every journey will have to be carefully considered or we’ll be ruined.

Okay, I exaggerate as usual, but still. It will cost us about 1k-2k yen per day assuming we only use the JR lines to go back and forth as we usually do. But add to that our way of using Shinkansen and we’ll might as well say 4-5k per day instead. Which wouldn’t be healthy. Not at all.

All in all the day was good. We ended the day in the couch, surfing the internet and enjoying it until around midnight. I must say that having internet is very comfortable and easy becomes a habit again. I feel complete, as the geek I am. I can once again have the safety of the all-knowing all-powerful internet as my fallback. Hehe, well, well…
