One Month Left
Before I’m in Japan again! Or at least on my way to Japan, I probably won’t arrive until the morning on the 10th which will be a Saturday. Heh, probably is kind of a weird way to express it, I highly doubt we’ll be going any faster so we won’t be in Japan before the 10th of April, that’s a fact.
Even so, just a month before our journey begins. Hopefully this will be even more exciting and interesting than before even though I’m more prepared and know more and have planned more than before. Not that I’ve done much planning, mostly overall preparations and decisions on what to do so I won’t be as lost as before. The plan this time is to have more money as well but we’ll see what happens I guess.
It’s somewhat more exciting this time I think. Last time I didn’t really know what to expect but this time I know some of what to expect but now it’s more of a challenge to get to the point of succeeding in things I want to do. When I went there without any expectations or plans things just happened and the only thing I got to keep a mind to was my money reserves. This time though I need to do what I want to do, and find ways to do it too. Not to mention this is another first-time thing – travelling with somebody else.
I know that I’ve done several conventions type of travelling with other people but this is something completely different. We’ll be going to Japan, a foreign country and we’ll be gone for roughly 29 days. I’ve never spent that much time with anyone outside the boundaries of my home or something more familiar. It will be a good and fun experience to see if we’ll kill each other, get bored or annoyed or whatever happens too.
Well, well… I can barely wait!
I’m fucking excited!
I have done quite a bit of traveling in my days, most of it with my family but a few times by myself, not the least of which was my trip to london but this will truly be something else entirely.
Hopefully we won’t kill eachother but I’m confident we can settle most problems the way we do when watching movies, meaning that I pick. 😛
The annoying part is I’m checking my passport daily, making sure the flight to stockholm was on the 9th etc. etc. 😛
Hello Herid,
I can understand how much you should be excited now, so close to your departure for Japan.
I hope you will experience there all these little things, sensations that make a trip different, that make the trip yours. As for me, I am sure you will be incredibly happy just by picking the meaning of a few japanese answers. Even if it is just “Ame ga furu” 😀
I will read your blog to try to get, through your experience, memories of a past trip over there.
Enjoy your time there !
Olivier
Thanks for the input Oliver!
It’s good to hear from you and I hope you’ll get some good memories by reading of my (our) return to Japan.
I will miss your singing in Miiko’s apartment =)
