To Fill In the Blanks II

And a last post of the day then. But in a way it’s the biggest.

Well, I came home around 22:30 today from Umeå. Hating trucks and hating the pure thought of driving anything looking like a car ever again. Partly because of an event that took place in the beginning of the journey which delayed my homecoming by three and a half hour in total.

But the thing was, when I got home, after many ifs and buts, I found to stinky happy kittens wanting to bathe! Or… maybe they didn’t want to bathe. First I thought that I was too tired for it, but after a while decided that I would do it, if only to calm them down since they were ecstatic and wild.

So I took Junior and started with him. Suddenly I heard a loud crash in the kitchen. A really, really loud crash and locked Junior in the shower cabinet as I ran to the kitchen where I heard a deep loud strange but pained screams of Lillen. When I came to the kitchen a chair had fallen down from the table1 and laid on the floor. Lillen was jumping and throwing herself in the air sounding like she had a large bee in her throat and at the same time hissed in a deep growling way. She was bloody all over her snout and was sputtering blood all over the kitchen floor and drooling.

I tried to pick her up as I started to panic but she growled and clawed at me and just hid, finally laying down under the table since she was barely able to walk, still sputtering blood while sneezing and drooling. In my worry I tried to call some numbers but finally gaining Ankan’s help to get to the Animal Hospital in Old Town and in the end my father helped me to transport Lillen there. After some x-rays and examination they decided to keep her there for the night but it seemed like it wasn’t something critical.

So she spent the night there and I picked her up the day after. She has gotten some medicine and most likely she hasn’t broken anything, and if she have, she have broken a bone in her little nose but since she’s so small still it’s impossible to know. The medicine though and being still fer a few days would solve the problems most likely.

Much Thanks to Ankan’s invaluable help! I knew I could at least count on you!

Best regards,
Herid Fel
