Unexpected Visit

Well, I was just cooling down preparing mentally for bed since my head was spinning when I got a phone call around half past twelve.

It was Andreas Forsberg who asked if he could swing by, after a quick consideration I said yes and he would call me later when he approached my front door.

When he finally arrived here we had quite a long discussion about things which kept going until half past four when he decided to go home. It was a really good discussion about life, the universe and everything and I really enjoyed it. It wasn’t how I planned to end my evening and he did take me a little off guard too.

It is amazing now, looking back, how people can change over the course of only a few years. Andreas is barely even the same person anymore and he has managed to reach a state of mind which I never would have expected from him just four years ago. He is in many ways thinking more clearly than anyone in the role-playing group and I would also believe that he is more content with himself and his life than most of you.

No, how people change as they grow is incredible. It really makes me happy to see drastic changes of this kind in people I’ve seen grow up. I hope I’ll see similar things in Rasmus and Robert, since they are the only ones I’m currently observing growing up.

Well, the visit was unexpected, it put me a little off balance but it was fun and I think we might do it again.
