We Survived
The storm came.
It brought havoc on the world.
It tore the world to shreds.
But through the storm, and through the havoc, we carried on.
We hid underneath the bridges.
We built shelters underground.
And as the world was torn asunder, we carried on underground.
We build them walls to protect ourselves, from what came from above.
And through the storm, and through the havoc, we carried on.
The storm has gone.
And we are left.
There are no words, there are no wonder, to describe what has come.
We have to live, we have to wander, so what we do is carry on.
And in the end we begin to wonder.
What was really going on?
But when the answer springs to mind, we simply chose to unwind.
Cause through it all, we all survived.
