What are the Odds?!

Well, just got to tell you a thing that I thought was pretty incredible, the humour of life.

I was on the Animeshow helping out and checking in and when I just arrived a guy, with dark brown skin and black short, short curly hair was poking my hair and I turned around and he was comparing his hair to mine. We talked a little and determined that his hair wouldn’t become like mine, most likely but maybe, it was hard to tell on his half-centimetre hair compared to my three and a half decimetre hair.

This though, is not the incredible thing, not even close. Later he sat down again feeling my hair, as so many are when they first see/meet me, he was fascinated by it and I noticed that his dialect was to clear Swedish for him to be an foreigner so I asked if he was adopted, he was. From where, Brazil. Where in Brazil, Saõ Paulo. And what was his name now again, Oscar. Blink. Blink. Blink. And how old are you, twenty years old. You’re kidding me, right? Nope, here, look on my drivers license. What are the odds?

What are the odds that someone with the name Oscar would be adopted from the same city to live in Luleå, and to ultimately, go to an Animeshow and meet me? Well, since the variables of this kind of math are quite many and quite hard to determine… I can only answer; not very high. So this was quite funny. If he only would have been two years older, he would have been born on the same year, just a few months after me. But well, coincidences must stop somewhere, mustn’t they?

Well, what are the odds?!

Wouldn’t he have to be two years older for you to be born the same year?
