One more Temple

Will you make it? Or will Devon be able to slaughter the whole party before it happens? It sure is getting interesting now I must say with all that has happened lately. The funny thing is that only one Big Duck and it’s all over. Not to mention that Devon have been set on the way to totally annihilate the group plus some extras, hehe.

I must admit though two things even though this might risk meta-gaming, if Devon’s question would just have been a little different then the answer from the Oracle would not have been so drastic nor violent. Maybe even something easier and manageable instead. But now the question has been made and it’s only to continue to see what happens. The most funny thing in all this according to me is that I actually root for Devon since he and Souichirou are the only two characters currently in the group that has closed into Hero-status.

The second thing I was to mention is just a revealation to PB and Violet. Sex was not necessary to solve the riddle of Isis. What was necessary was do bind together with each other and give up the fate of all the future children together. The binding was the only thing you needed to do. Violet’s uterus has been taken away from her and Erion cannot successfully bed any other woman than Violet any more and Erion is the only one who can sexually please Violet and in any way get her passion going. But her body no longer releases the hormones necessary for the lust that sex and passion requires, with one exception, Erion whom is the only one she can ever love. But it’s not only a bad thing, which you will soon realize. A character plot twist that I’ve been planning with Erion has been set into motion now and you’ll soon realize the benefits of this if you don’t abuse it that is.

I’ve heard, from PB, that it is almost a desire to let this all end soon, maybe in a wipe. It would be, let’s see if I express it correctly now; “It would be relief, but it wouldn’t be such a pity but still a relief.” Correct me if you didn’t mean it in that way, but that’s how I understood it, and I so do understand. This can’t end well for almost any party. Daniel is divided between what he wants and what Devon should want which is a hard position to have but as I’ve expressed before something really good and much valued by me.

Let me also give you some heads up what can happen and what the alternatives will be soon. One of the first and most obvious things is that Devon might die a horrible, horrible death while trying to massacre the group. Like earlier mentioned a Duck can appear when you least expect it precisely like a Foppa can work against you in precisely the wrong moment.

Another alternative is that Devon actually manages to slaughter everyone as the Oracle showed him. If he does this, he will immediately get a real Heroic title. Violet and Tergan will be remembered as villains trying to usurp Magicka and maybe even Magun even though over time it will be believed that Violet was the perpetrator that was behind everything. Devon would be rewarded with the first stage of immortality, the elixir of life, which extends the life span of the one who takes it. Devon will be temporary written out for a decade or so1 as a result of this.

Another alternative is something that probably will result with a clash between players and NPCs leading to a half-wipe where either Devon or Violet ends up as captives for the winning party that is left standing strongest.

– If Devon is the one being captive this will probably result in him being a victim for the Demon Violet’s charms and mesmerises which effectively put an end to all of this.
– If Violet is the one being caught up she will loose all her freedom and thus be ended.
– If Ace survives she will survive until she’ll pass over the line and become a demon or die under Aces confined experiments in a closed chamber on Magicka.
– If Ace doesn’t survive, she will soon die or turn which will lead to her death.

In any case, Violet’s loss will cause her to be known as patient zero, the first human ever to contract the demonic gene and be the first case which all demonic lineage cases will measured after. So she will gain a place in history even by losing but only as the first in the evolutionary step of the demonic gene which has been passed on from the demons. This will help Rheinas greatly when he appears later in the future.

There is other, if now unlikely, scenarios and outcomes that I can see of this. One is how Devon is being turned to the group, even not on the groups’ side. How I will not tell, but it is a possibility that I don’t deem as unlikely even though I think you have a hard time to see how right now. Another scenario is how Devon forfeit everything leaving the group without betraying it, this also something you won’t know how, but a possibility that is out there to get you thinking. The most unlikely thing right now is how Devon actually and fully sides with the group and goes through with everything.

Well, it sure is interesting I must say. So the question is, will you all die because of this at Anubis where it is vital that the group is whole and can defend itself? Oh the irony that you have your squabbles within yourself now, where the danger is the highest.

Hahaha!
