Ramble XLVI

Oh yes, here I go again.

Well, rambles are one good way to write posts even though I sometimes lack a subject to write about. But in most cases, just writing what pops into my head works pretty well too…

Let’s see what pops out today, shall we?

One of the most common things for me to think about nowadays seems to be my cats, what they do and do not do and how they do it. I guess one could get easily bored talking about kittens all the time but well, I’ve become really fond of them and this experience is really fulfilling.

In the beginning when I got Junior I was afraid that I would, just after a few days or weeks, get tired of having cats and regret the whole thing. But it’s just the opposite. Even though I can get annoyed at them now and again now I still think this is one of the best investments I’ve made this year. Even though they will cost me about 500 SEK every month.

The best thing with cats is that the few times I actually would feel lonely I don’t feel that lonely anymore since they are always there, nearby. If you can’t see them, you can often hear them jingling or making sounds with whatever they can find in the apartment.

One of the worst things are that you need to empty the litter every day, sometimes twice a day and that you’ll have to keep them from doing stuff that is bad. Like biting on cables or messing with small stuff that they might swallow or even break.

My allergies have settled a bit more, even though it seems that I get one more symptom every second week now. It will be fun to see if it evolves to something even more or if it goes away completely or just stays as it is soon.

Lil annoys me a little with all her whining, her bleeding, and her constant refusal to eat the food. She is really a gluttony eating and always wanting everything, except for the food she have available. This is partly my fault for buying this jelly-food thingy that I planned to give to them as a treat once a day, but now it seems they always want it instead so I’ve decided to stop giving them anything at all, candy or treats at all until they continue to eat the dry food as usual. But that’s not all, Lil are slow and stupid, she does not always understand why I hiss at her and she is really slow to react. I think I will have to hiss at Jun and use the spray at Lil until she understands that she should listen to the hiss before she will get all wet.

Well, well, I must go to the vet with them I’ve decided. The blood is troubling, so I guess I have to muster up some money somehow. Well, well, one thing at a time…
