Crystal in Action

Well, I must say that the start of Crystal did not impress me, not at all. Even though it did work, barely.

To begin with, two of four players had forgotten the session. Well, they are just kids…1 so I can’t really blame them. They had somehow misunderstood the mails so they didn’t know it was today and the one who did know didn’t know when it was.

Well, the second thing was that I somehow managed to forget three very important papers at home. Well, that wasn’t the best way to start a campaign but well, it worked.

We finally got going and due to all the waiting I’ve gotten somewhat off-track. I didn’t really start as I wanted to start but just pushed it forward to get it going. I also pressed the awesome-factor up two steps and pushed down the demands on players and reality some steps down. I realized very quickly that John Dalstål hadn’t changed at all and that the grave serious matter would’t be comprehended by him. Still he can play this role even though he takes some things too literary.

Well, I plan to play this campaign again with the group. That time I will have Ankan to play the main character, the one I’m now playing and have Daniel to play the character he plays again. Ankan knows some about the campaign and Daniel will know a lot about it after this playthrough. I will make some changes and make it more detailed and the rest of you will have to choose of the four players left and then we’ll play. I think it will be a fun activity to play between arcs or as a break between groups.

Well, I hope the next session will be better and that I will have eaten better and not be as tired I’ve been the past few days.

Best regards,
Herid Fel
