Correction: Moons

I’ve discovered that I’ve done something very, very wrong for some time now, almost a year. I’ve called the green moon in Nianze for Voden when its name actually is Verim. Voden is the last day of the astronomical week used in Meno, Aguin, Magicka and Katia.

I have a few stories with this miss in them to but well, better late than never to correct it.

So just to repeat a little, the five moons are;

Alzor – The regular grey-white moon. It’s the moon that’s always visible and also the second smallest moon. It works like our moon, effecting gravity and some other usual phenomena but also is a main factor for weeks and months in most countries.

Geron – The Red Moon, the moon of strength and power. It’s by far the biggest moon and is always visible. I’m changing some of it’s nature a bit but nothing big. It appears about four times a year.

Luna – The White Moon, the moon of magic and spirit. It’s a very rare moon which isn’t known by all. It only appears every once a year and always during the total shadow of Alzor so it’s mostly mixed up with Alzor by the common people. It’s the moon of greatest power of the five moons and sometimes is a symbol for goodness as an opposite to Hadan. Luna is a little bigger than Alzor, but not by much.

Hadan – The black moon, the moon of evil and corruption. The unholy moon which radiates and corrupts peoples hearts. It’s a moon that is feared in most of Nianze and it has a red spot in it’s middle so it looks like a big red eye looking down on Yurin. The red spot is called the Eye of Hadan, and where the eye shines, great evil is released. The moon appears about twice a year and that week it appears is called The Dark Week and the big day is called The Day of Shadow and the eve is called The Eve of Evil. Beware it’s evil powers. Hadan is the second biggest moon of all, but it’s also furthers away from the planet so it only seem to be slightly bigger than Luna when it’s almost half the size of Geron.

Verim – The Green Moon, the moon of nature and creation. It’s the most unpredictable moon which is also the strangest moon. Nobody understands it and it’s impossible to tell what might happen where it appears. Some people believe that it’s not actually a moon but just a strange phenomenon, a side effect of the creator’s death. Others believe that it is the creator’s new form. It’s the smallest moon and it changes everything it shines upon in some way. Not always for the best but always in some way.

Well, one good post at least…
