Have you noticed?

That I’m finally have caught up on the blog. I’ve filled the vacant days from the Kusmark trip now with posts and hopefully you’ll find most of them interesting. It’s been hard to think of something interesting to write so I’ve been writing about the stuff I’ve had on my mind recently and also what have bugged me. Like the one thing I have to complain about with Ankan’s playing of Isai.

And that was his lack of description while using magic. When I described the magic system during the last rule forum I thought that I made it clear how it worked but even so Ankan mostly just said; “I do this” and “I do that” when he used his spells. I often had to add to his description when I thought it was needed. I don’t get Isai as a great mage when Ankan mostly just describe his spells plainly in a way which lacks in the “awesome” power that spells are supposed to have.

“I throw wild fire at him.”
“Okey… the worm takes 4 in DMG.”

*Writes down the cost on the sheet*
“…”
*The game continues*

Awesome situation! Well, hopefully the posts will correct this, even though the big risk with post containing information is too much questions of the wrong character. And a too sterile and static thinking. I guess most people in the group have this problem that they see the numbers more than they see the image, the scene, when it comes to the practical stuff, which often decreases its effect and awesomeness. Use more imagination, less question, and just do it and you’ll see it will turn out okay.

Well, now I’m going to rest for a bit and hopefully some money will fall down from the ciling so I can pay my rent, get some more food (my ham is gone) and maybe buy kittens or something. Well, well… one step at a time. Enjoy your reading, and if you have questions or any opinion at all you should voice it. Because when people isn’t voicing their opinions I see it as lack of interest. Especially when it comes to Post RPG, which I think I might only give one more try and if it’s as many people voicing up as last time I’ll scrap the idea. Well, at least Ankan got the point. But I doubt I’ll have the will to try this anytime soon after the lack of responses last time and the strange thing is that all of you were online on MSN during that day and nobody answered so well…

Best regards,
