EVE – A Tight Spot
That is the least I can say about my situation right now. The corp I’m in are at war against four other corps (this morning it was only three but when I logged on now one more had joined the war). The bad thing though isn’t that we are at war, it’s some dickhead that seems to hire a lot of mercenaries to gank us, but that the hot warzone where every war target is hanging around is just outside my doorstep.
Today I logged on, and there was a fight going on just outside the station and everybody was like screaming, DON’T UNDOCK! Everyone in Amarr-space, stay docked! It’s not going that well right now and I’m stuck in the middle of it. A sitting duck and I have no chance of escaping the whole system since they are around the star gates too.
Well, tomorrow or on Sunday, depending on when I have time to play again. My corp is going to help me flee the Amarr-system and move, temporary to a safer location where I can do some good. I’m not trained to be a PvP-pilot right now and I don’t have the skills nor the money to fit my ships for it either. So all I can do is do missions with others in the corp and help with mining ops which is probably what I’ll do. I’m going to start training up my skills so I can fly a mining barge too. They will buy me one in corp if I do so well…
A really tight situation, but somehow fun too. I’m thinking about maybe fitting one of my smaller ships to try learning PvP, it seems fun, but dangerous. Well, well… missions for a while now.
