Campaigns in Progress

Since The Travels in Iijavin were cancelled I’ve been thinking on and off on a lot of campaigns I want to try and I think that I’ll play a short campaign soon. Something like a four part campaign I think. It will probably be an open campaign, so I’ll try to recruit members from as many different directions as possible. I don’t know how many players I’ll accept but at least four and at most six. Anything more or less than that would be either boring or too hard to make to work.

So far I’m thinking about a campaign not set in Nianze at all. This campaign is loosely based upon an animation I once saw which name I have forgotten. But it’s also based upon an old adventure we played in Nianze Square after the Necromancers had taken over the world. It’s a dark shady campaign with dark heroes and not much magical power. So you could say that it’s quite low fantasy. It’s somehow resembles The Witcher, but with even less magic than that world. The name I have given this campaign so far is Crystal of the Dark Age.

It will probably use a version of the Nianze-base system if not the same but with different lore and reasons behind it not that the lore should be even close to as structured in this world as in Yurin. I don’t plan to let this small world expand anything or even be any more elaborating than necessary so it’s only a campaign world. It will have premade characters which all will be human and be special in some way.

I probably won’t continue on Iijavin since this world is almost as big as Yurin and needs a lot of detail to work as intended. I don’t have the energy or the will to do this right now (if ever) so once again Iijavin goes back to my folders with old stuff. Who knows when it next will be used? Maybe some day, I’ll look at it and decide I want to do something with it. But until that day it will be only a memory and some pictures.

I have some more ideas but so far this is the one I feel most for and the one I’ve worked the most with. As soon as I’ve structured it a little more I will post a better post with some introduction and also mail it to TA and try to recruit interested here and there. Depending on what I decide we might use the regular version of Nianze or a Lite version if not a special Nianze version with modifications for this world only.
