The Arc Break

As stated earlier the arc is over and now I’m beginning to recover so let’s just give you some idea what we’ll do next in this pause. I’ve decided that we will have three sessions in this break. Each session will deal with one part and then if necessary I’ll put in at most one more session before we start again. I estimate that this break will take from one to two weeks depending on time and energy of our players. My goal is to start the second arc June the 6th, two days before PB’s 22nd birthday¹. That day will most likely not be a full-day session but only a evening session but that might as well be since that session will mostly be to set the second arc and to sum up your doings until the start.

The first session tough is a single session which will take about 2-4 hours per person. We will first go through the arc and its events and the effect and so on. Then we’ll discuss a little about the conclusions we’ve reached. I will bring up my criticism and if you have any thoughts or anything to criticize you’ll do that. I will then most likely present some alternatives for you for the next two sessions and some other minor stuff about the future.

From the second session and forward, depending on the choices you’ve made the Shikár in the group will continue as a duo-session. If they’ve chosen not to do it like that we’ll proceed as planned. Violet will probably have some Flashback scenarios to play and some Character Trait sessions while the Shikár will have some sessions with familiarizing with their society some more and to get some deeper understanding about The Shikár.

We will also, most likely update the formulas if needed. The pages which are need to be replaced due to smudges or other changes will be and the rest will be revised and gone through for changes or whatever necessary. If you think that you lack a skill you should have had, you might be able to trade for it, or simply gain it now and skills which you haven’t used or are out of place will be removed. Your inventory will also be revised as well as your afflictions, abilities, and deficiencies.

In Violets case the changes on Demonic Lineage will be applied, since the changes are based upon things I’ve noticed and want to change now or change the function of or even change all together.

As for how and when the sessions can be; this week I can start the single sessions from Thursday. I’m busy Monday and Tuesday, and possible Wednesday too so that will do for this week. I can take three single sessions a day, if necessary. I plan circa 3 hours for the first session, but with a slight risk it will become 4. The first at least should be within 3 hours and will be individual sessions. No session earlier than 12 and no sessions start later than 20 if I haven’t asked for it myself. Monday’s and Sundays will be occupied and remember that I’ll have, most likely, one session with the X-files a week and most likely I won’t have time for any other group that day.

I would like, but it isn’t a must, to have all summary sessions first before I get to the other sessions. I don’t think I need more than just half a day to plan the next step so you don’t need to wait an eternity. If I need to rest tough I will deny your session request but otherwise it’s just to pick and choose.

I will probably finish or at least post what I’ve written on the second Shikár post this evening too.
