LAN – Day One

Just to not fall behind I think it’s a good idea to write something about what is happening in my apartment instead of spamming you afterwards with a bunch of more or less important posts.

Well, at first we experienced some problems with some computers. Foppa had somehow managed to get his newly formatted computer to stop working (barely a week after I fixed it!!) and Rasmus Vista edition of Windows isn’t very cooperative, I must say. Andreas tried to change graphics card on his computer but it seemed like the card he tried to replace it with was faulty…

Well, in the end, everything is working – more or less – and we have things in place. It’s really crowded here but that’s as it should be since this actually is a private LAN anyway.

I think that Andreas got bored after all the failures and his slow computer. It’s not much to do and he has mostly played HALO 3 before he went home to get some proper sleep. We’ll see when or if he returns tomorrow.

So far it’s been quite fun even tough I must say that some computers really make a loud noise. I can’t help to think about how one could rip apart the two computers that belong to the family Forsberg and just make something decent out of it instead of those piles of junk. Silent and smooth, but it seems that no matter what one do they still manage to break it within a week.

Well, we’ll continue this LAN and hopefully we get more games going tomorrow. So far we’ve only played CS and Heroes of Might of Magic 3.

Well, well… we’ll see…
