Just to give you a heads up…
Today didn’t really go well, but it didn’t really go bad. I tried to let you do it yourselves but it seems that it took too much time for some and too little for others. It doesn’t really matter to me but to speed things up the next session I will give you something to think about.
Now when the equipment is about done we can proceed to what the meeting today really was meant for; connection and relations within the group. We have worked out the two groups connections and relation to each others so what’s left is group A to group B.
Now that you know somewhat how you came in contact with each others you can now try to think up how you acted in various situations and how you want to have been perceived and so on. Also you might think about how your own thoughts about various aspects about the strangers were.
In the desert there are a few things you’ll need to survive which all of you have. You need something to cover your head, both the top of your head as well as around your head to cool it down. You also need something to protect your face from the sun; this is Desert People and foreigners alike.
The desert people often have a separate hood with a sweat roll around their forehead which is possible to cover ones face with from weather and wind. The Marjuls have a turban often accompanied with a shawl and/or a big hood. The foreigners often use a shawl or a long neckerchief made out of burlap or the like which they just wind around their heads.
Water and pack-animals is a must in the desert. A few is so hardcore to be able to have something on their backs and be able to walk in the desert. Everyone tries to wear as little baggage as possible since they will need their strength. It’s possible to rent some Camels, Elephants and other animals in Kaaba which is a must if you plan to go outside a city since you will need more water than you can carry.
There is food in the desert if you know what you can and cannot eat. You will probably have a list of edible animals and plants which you have bought in Kaaba, they have some illustrations with them. The Desert People know most of the animals by instinct otherwise there is other ways for a Clansman to get their food and water.
You will need to not only work on your description but also about how you have developed your relationship to each others, and that includes all people you know about right now that aren’t yourself. You need to have a before, during and after so to have a start point and a goal how you want it to be towards the end would be good. But of course this is the topic of the discussion.
I also need to say that any session the next couple of weeks might be needed to end very quickly. My body does not like me and if I feel that I need to be alone with my body you will need to leave quickly. I hope you can respect that since I will no longer be almost dead and have people around me to be concerned about. I often feel it before it happens but sometimes it’s very sudden and then I just hope you know what to do and respect this. If it comes too often I will take a break from everything for a while.
Best regards,
Herid Fel
