Taraien, year 7 of the Apocalyptic Age – The Year of Steel

About seven years ago there was a big worldly war which literarily almost tore the world apart. A lot of things happened in that war which would change the world forever.

Five Celestial Spheres, called Moons, were released from the planet. Evil were released, chaos were spread, destruction reined, and then the Creator died and at the same time the end of the world was proclaimed by the Prophet Apakros.

Seven years have passed and still, the world hasn’t calmed itself. The people of Yurin are confused, lost and tries their best to survive and rebuild the world in preparation for the three great wars that have been declared to come.

The nations are gathering their strength, gathering their armies, rebuilding their cities, fighting for power. And this is true even for the vast fiery desert.

Along the savannah Meno and Aguin have disembarked their fleets to colonize and create a bond with the people of the Desert. Most of the colonies are in the building and they are quite few in numbers so far.

The people on the savannah, humans and the strange new lion creatures are minding their own business, seldom doing anything with the outsiders but the Marjuls of both Kaaba and Mecca have seen their opportunities to even more riches and treasures with trading with the colonists, fighting for contracts, a fight that all too often and all too quickly ends with bloodshed and destruction.

The People of the Sand which are a hot-tempered violent people ignore the outsiders mostly. Their grudge is with the Debians and no one else. They themselves struggle against each other for territory, cattle, water and revenge. Their feuds are many and their sole purpose of existence is to guard the desert from intruders to get past them.

In this year and age, the Taraians still consider themselves the Holy Guardians of the sand and that they are completely unaffected by the worlds troubles like the Apocalyptic Prophecies. They don’t even consider it their fault that the world was nearly destroyed either and only concerns themselves with their own problems and feuds.

They need to be strong, even the strongest so nobody can defeat them and since the war proved them not to be invincible a lot of the Clans are trying to develop and become stronger and stronger.

NOTE:
I have changed history a little here. The People of the Sand are no longer a united people by other means than the Fire Elves and Mars. Other than that they’re separate and mostly fighting amongst themselves for the honour and favour of their goddess.

This was good reading, and it raised a question. What about the grand master? Does he still rule over all the clans?

There is no Grand Master, which was the point of the Notice in the end… I assumed you would understand but I guess not.

Hehe, assumptions are bad remember? Anyway, that raises new questions… But let’s take those during the single session instead.

Only a fool thinks that. And you will have a really hard time when I grow tired of explaining everything to you like you are a kid, which I hope you aren’t.

Well well , this timeline looks interesting to start in , sounds very hectic and a time of exploring , mending from the war, and destruction of the world.

By the way is this around the time the Gaia tree appears?

The Gaia Tree is about seven years old now. It was planted to hold the planet together. The full story will be posted when I have the time and energy to write the seventh chapter of the Nianze Myths.

    You should know this……………
