Ramble XIV

So well… what to write about now? I guess I will ramble and the topics will come to me as usual. Yeah, I know!

Ukun’s Chamber was a success I think. It worked as intended even though they didn’t manage to find everything and so on. Nobody died and actually the best thing was that it had some flow and all the participants seemed to have fun.

I intend to use Ukun’s Chamber again, and my first intentions were to use it as starter for KaSe but I don’t know if that is such a good idea. I’ve been away from the files for so long that I’ve lost track of a lot of things which will make it a little bit difficult to set. I guess I will settle this tomorrow.

Yeah, that’s something I need to say. It’s a slim risk that I’ve actually lost perspective totally of Serena and Karnak due to all that has happened so it might go really bad if I can’t find my train of thought again. I have a lot written down but I need to reconstruct much more if this is going to work out as intended. If worst come to worst I have a cheap-way-out that I plan to use if I must. I won’t let this group just be forfeited.

Another obstacle has appeared too, though I don’t think it will prove to be a problem. I have been called to a meeting in Umeå this Saturday, which is also the day I planned to start off the Vampire Campaign. Due to the late notice¹ I don’t think it will be possible. Hopefully I will get elected anyway and might have a chance to be in the board for this year, otherwise I will just have to aim for the next, I’m still interested then.

Speaking of which, it seems like Foppa is unsure if he’s going to play in the campaign or not, which is highly understandable. I don’t know why or if my assumptions are right or not but to me it feels like Foppa’s interest in Role-Playing isn’t on the same level as many of us. Not to say that it’s bad, but still, I think that if it’s something that is pressing underneath that is affecting the will and interest in playing you shouldn’t force yourself to play. I think all of you agree on this, that forcing one to play just because you want to play but don’t have any interest in playing, is not good for you or the group as a whole.

Back to the vampire stuff this Saturday, it probably won’t take too long creating your characters since there will be so few choices to make and not much to discuss before we start playing. And yeah, Daniel Åström is supposed to attend, but we’ll see about that on Saturday.
