El Cazador De La Bruja
So it ends… El Cazador de la Bruja. A sequel but yet no sequel to Noir and Madlax. They are as related as the Gundam series even though they aren’t as popular and similar to each other as they are. The series is mostly made by the same team and if I remember correctly they are all released by Beetrain too.
I’ll be brief and with as little spoilers as possible.
The series is as previously stated similar to the other two series but mostly because of the relationships and the characteristic of the series. Of the three though I must say that I liked Noir more, but then again it’s older and it somehow felt to have better pace all through. This series is well balanced and it doesn’t flip out like Madlax towards the end either.
It’s amazing how much you can relate to an anime even though ideas and events occurred before you even knew it existed. For instance, there is an character in this series that is exactly as Herid Fel have been acting the first few times I actually used him in Nianze back in the days before even Foppa played the game.
Over all the series is good but it has some loose ends here and there that seems to be… unnecessary if you ask me. But if you compare it to role-playing that is possible although I would have liked some more… build-up around the story and the world. It was most likely set in Spain or South America around now but I think the series is actually based upon an older story that’s supposed to be set in Mexico.
Well, it’s worth watching anyway and if you are interested just check it up on ANN or some other page with good information. Now I think I will try to get some rest so I have the energy to do what I must do tomorrow, and hopefully I will get some money tomorrow too now that I didn’t get a job to replenish my loss of money…
Hehe, this is one of the few posts that I’ve actually managed to post within the same day I mark it on, hehe.
Best regards,
Herid Fel
