Knitting the Circle
At first, I was supposed to write another Short Story here, then towards the end of the last one… I got tired and the thought faded away. I might write that story again sometime, I might not but it doesn’t matter anyway. I have once again started with my foolish consumption of caffeine through tea and energy drinks. It’s amazing that you actually can feel the heart beat that strong after a couple of pots…
Well, putting my foolishness aside I have almost finished Mistborn. I have about eighty pages left that I can’t read properly because I have run out of toner. Yesterday I run out of paper and then I run out of toner, so I believe that it’s a sign that I should buy some more or stop writing out books of six hundred pages, almost seven. The next book though, if I decide to read it, I will buy instead. It doesn’t cost too much, it’s not a Jordan. The only reason to why I should purchase it would be mostly because of the reason that I know it’s a trilogy, in other words it has an end. I won’t say much more about what I think about the book yet, I tend to finish the first one first.
Today I played with David. It went fairly well even though the session wasn’t that long. Though it feels like small portions are best in the beginning. It was the same with Ankan. You create one session just to provoke the characters personality and to create a familiar setting then you precede one step at a time, building things around the base as you go. PB will most likely soon be finished with his character, even though the progress most likely will slow a little by him returning to work. He is, for the moment, the slowest one to create character. The biggest problem for him, is like for everybody else, to think outside the box. Sure you try but you all seem to get stuck. But well, it will get better if given time.
I’ve started to think how and when to implement who with who and when. I will ask everyone who they would like to be paired up with first, but in the end I will decide what will happen that is best for my decisions. I might need you all to do some minor changes to give the finalizing touch I want. I might even need to alter my plans a little to make them fit all together. However right I think that Ankan will, unfortunately be alone for a couple of sessions more, or at least one, before I will join him with anyone. Foppa will as well have one session alone when he’s visiting his village. After that I plan to try to get you all together.
I need to start working a little more on the adventure for the Convention I think. I plan to have at least one fight during the convention so I need to plan that carefully as I create the characters. Right now it’s actually one spot over, to anyone who wants it. Ankan and David are currently in the group and I can promise that if someone wants to play in the adventure on Sunday they will be able to participate, if they sign up through the site. The session is from about 10:30 to 17:00.
Well, I think that my economical crisis might be solved soon. Either that or I will find myself in some real trouble. Anyway, it needs to be solved quickly or things might get ugly. And with that I bid you good night.
Best regards,
Herid Fel
