Back to the Books

I’ve started reading again. Actually there was a moment today when I got bored about a minute ago and I had printed out some pages from Mistborn one of the books Brandon Sanderson, the man who are finishing Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time, have written. That’s when I decided that, yes… it’s time to pick this up again.

But to be completely truthful, I haven’t really, really read a book since I moved in here. Well, actually read Harry Potter, the last book but I read it in a night, so it doesn’t count. I never moved then and well… I don’t really know why but that didn’t feel like serious reading. Anyhow, when I decided to start reading I also decided that I need to gather some mood or something. I want that relaxing feeling I managed to bring up when I had my WoT marathon while living back at Muddy River. And I just found a solution and have just finished my preparations.

I have downloaded some good relaxing music which I meditated to when I learned to meditate. I have put it in a good meditation and reading playlist and then I’ve made myself a pot of tea and prepped my armchair in the corner to be comfortable to sit in and read and without any need to move to get my tea. I just interrupted this to write a post now when I had the will to do so without forcing a subject to write about. Anyhow I’ve decided to pick up reading again and I will most likely not start with Robert Jordan, not yet…

The reason for this is that I need to update myself in language before. I will read this… Mistborn and then I will see if I will lend some more books to read, and only paperback no pocket! I really dislike pocket. They are hard to preserve and they feel… I don’t really know… sloppy. I want the hard cover and the weight and the smell from quality paper, not that cheap smell from thin low quality paper.

About tomorrow, I’m not too sure how much of a Rule Forum it will actually be, I feel like I’ve neglected the preparation and haven’t organized what I wanted to, but knowing me the only thing I’ll need is some good mood and the day will be nice anyway. However… now I’m going to read and drink some tea. See you all tomorrow, and for those I won’t see, I bid you a good night!

Best regards,
