More about RPG and such

Well, well… it seems like we have a standstill for the main group. This, more or less dissolves the main group and most likely a new one will be formed now when Ankan is finished with his single-session arch and is ready to play in the same time and age as the rest of you. I’ve thought much about RPG the past days and reached some conclusions.

To begin with, I need some minor readjustments to the formula. I haven’t really worked them out yet but I think it just needs some concentration and I’ll fix it without any big problems. I plan to fix the formula as well as the Table Collection. I will also try to create some new formulas for adversaries and NPC’s. I also need to finish the extra-pages for mages and those with Demonic Linage or similar abilities that need some extra pages to work properly.

Well as for the system itself I’m going to finish some adjustments to the techniques and maybe even add some more. The list needs to be complete so you can use it easier, as for the social situations I will mostly apply it as I see fit without too much regard to the rules around it. I’ve already started on some spells and I think that some spells might disappear, even though they will reappear as a level two or three spell to another base-spell, and others will be added. I’ve also tried to make a list of basic things you can do than you probably won’t always think of. Most things aren’t tied to skills but are actually easier to perform with skills, but some you just need the skill. This list will mostly be used as a guideline to help you to try to “think outside the box” and use your skills more innovative.

For the main group right now, Foppa is the one holding the ball. When he calls the next group session I will start planning it and we will continue where we left of. BUT, I can’t wait for too long. If necessary I will have to SLP Leon and get forward. Whatever happens, the pension episode won’t happen as I originally planned. I will soon lose the will and energy to play that scenario and most likely it will be an R&R with a possibility to train and without any events at all, just a quick review of what happens during the three months you spend there. I know, boring, but it’s your own fault to note take advantage of my good ideas during my high points.

Until then single-sessions are called by the sessions page, as earlier stated, I can play two sessions a day. One thing though, I need at least one day between the sessions to try to prepare for the next session if I haven’t done that already. As for PB, I need to know at least two days before the day you want to play to be able to prepare what I need to prepare your scenario. Ankan is now counted as the main group until further notice when he’s the only active player right now. When David have started to play and come pass the pre-sessions he and Ankan will be able to form a group, at least physically in reality, and they will be the main group if PB and Foppa haven’t started yet.

I wish to remind you about that it will be possible to sign up to sessions on the convention on Monday but it will require a user, which is pretty easy to make. However I hope I see some you’re your names in the list when the convention is drawing closer. And yeah, this weekend WANO is having a convention… or maybe the next weekend, can’t really remember. Obviously they aren’t dead, yet, so if you want to watch Anime and such or just drop in to see how they’re doing now it’s a good opportunity to do so. They are actually doing pretty well (when they HAVE conventions) and it’s a little bit different from when I used to be in charge. Hehe, one thing that is bothering me though is that I really believe that it’s this weekend and that they said they were going to get some anime from me but they haven’t said to me what they want…

Well, I’m thinking about a Rule Forum again soon. Now when Ankan, Foppa and I will start studying again maybe we’ll be able to find a day when we all are free during a weekday. This actually reminds me that I need to do some stuff around the association to get things going, as well as visit Swedbank to change some stuff. Well, I think that’s it for today…

Yeah, and I need to finish the last chapter of the myths. I think I will start working on that  someday, maybe tomorrow…
