Absence

As you all might have noticed by now I haven’t been writing on the blog lately. This is because I’ve been doing other stuff. First it was Drak’s party and then the day after that. Then I’ve been so busy with role-playing and obviously the whole world wanted to visit me this week. Well, maybe that isn’t a good excuse but that’s the truth. One thing led to another and therefore the will and energy to write didn’t exist and as a result no posts. But you don’t care anyway.

So let’s give you a quick summary of what’s been happening the last few days then. During Drak’s party I discovered a lot of things, or at least the thought re-emerged. I have never really been a part of LuDa; I’ve always been the nerd that hangs with other nerds. I have been too different from them in my views, opinions and way of working but even so I liked to hang around them. I learned a lot from them and being at least around people sometimes can give you a sense of direction. Of all in LuDa I liked Syd and Drak the most. They also felt like outsiders in this group even though they weren’t. Syd was quite funny with a great sense of self and Drak’s attitude and personality was much like mine in some ways so well…

Anyway, the party was quite fun. I met some of the old LuDa people I haven’t met for quite a while; Adolf and Norre¹. Adolf and Drak are the ones that have learned me Go and both have helped me every now and then with Linux even though Adolf have done most of it. So they are the ones that have interested me in Linux, Svorak and Go in other words. Both of them have been quite good Go-players and being on a party at Drak led to at least three matches which I all lost but even so my interest have come back as well as my interest to begin with things I started before like Linux, now when I seems to have given up most of my playing on the computer when I have the PS2. So well, we’ll see when I continue with that.

Well, I played RPG with the kids on Monday and that’s when the whole world started to contact me. Well, it wasn’t the whole world but obviously many of some old friends from my childhood and the family was visiting. This is the reason to why some sessions were cancelled earlier this week. Ankan even met one of my visitors, my sister and a friend of ours. But well, I’ve been playing a little at least even though things have gone a little bit slow lately due to the overload on my mind.

I’m starting to come to terms with certain things and with the idea to start to play Go and start doing a little more of this and that I’m actually having very little time left for myself to do things if I shall be able to keep it all up. I mean RPG takes a lot of time to prepare as to play and if I want to do something else to play that day I need to be up earlier and go to bed later. I need to eat more and I need to have everything set out too. But then again if I don’t have any slack time I will probably be exhausted all the time, which wouldn’t be ideal. So playing Go, researching for RPG, preparing for RPG, playing PS2, training, cleaning, eating, having a nice time with folks and preparing a more stable life and so on takes pretty much out of one.

Well, but soon everything will be as I want it.
