Rule Forum

This is a post for or about my role-playing game Nianze. If you are a part of any of my RPG-groups I suggest to you to read this when this is for you. If you aren’t too interested in my role-playing game you most likely won’t find this post interesting.

forum (plural forums or fora)
– A place for discussion.
– A gathering for the purpose of discussion.
– A form of discussion involving a panel of presenters and often participation by members of the audience.
– An Internet message board where users can post messages regarding one or more topics of discussion.

The forum I’m currently talking about is the second point;
“- A gathering for the purpose of discussion.”

Due to the fact that people generally do not seem to show to much interest in expressing themselves and being unable to express them selves so everybody understand I suggest that we have a official forum tomorrow (Tuesday) at my place. I will make a list of things I want to discuss and we will discuss it through and try to listen to all opinions and my view and se if you are able to help me and to see what you think about my thoughts for some of the rules.

I know that some of you dislike rules, I do too in some extent but I still think they are necessary for my game, as long as everyone know that not even one rule is absolute. The only force in any RPG that is absolute is the game master, who’s task it is to make the game as good as possible.

A while ago I said that I might need your help to look over some things in Nianze, this Forum is precisely that. I want all your opinions so I would be very glad if as many of my players and people interested in Nianze could attend.

To prepare you a little so you know what I want to discuss tomorrow so you have a chance to think it through or write down some things I will write down some of the points I’m thinking about;

Druids – I want to know more about what you think about these
Skills – Such as Focusing and Battle Technique
Technique System – The system for techniques
Spells – About level system for the spells, to be able to upgrade some spells
Mages – I need to go through their special skills again, a minor revision
Phase System – Just want some opinions about it…
Association – Our activity is called association, we need to talk a little about this…

Well, these are the main things, maybe I will bring up something else later, but at the moment these are the main points.

Well, I think I rather discuss this than have a session Tuesday, if we are finished with Kalmar. Otherwise we might take a day off and try to have a forum during Wednesday, what do you think?
