RPG Rubbish

Yeah, that’s what this is.
Just a pile of rubbish, mostly about role-playing games. So if you dislike or have no interest whatsoever in my role-playing life… then you should quit… NOW! I mean, it’s useless for you to continue if you don’t have any use of what I’m writing about. I don’t want to waste away your fucking life with my interests. No, no, no… you go ahead and do something fun and useful with your life, yeah, do that…

Well, to be completely honest with you guys, I only write this because I wanted to fill this vacant spot on my calendar. Yeah, you knew that didn’t you you fools… However, I might as well try to write something of use when I’m at it anyway. So here we go!
I WILL correct my Nianze Myths before I continue with chapter five. I might have changed the title of the fifth chapter from “The Raise of the Twelve Kingdoms” to “The Raise of the Eight Kingdoms” but I haven’t really decided yet. Actually I think the later one is the one that will probably win. This part of the history will be pretty detailed because the humans know more about their origins from this time than the other Ages. The only thing though is that they will only go in a little on the whole picture and the rest will be embedded into the countries separate history and in the sessions when I will try to give you a picture about how my world works.

Before Nianze was an idyllic world with no worries whatsoever and with almost no racism and elements of conflicts at all. Now everyone is at conflict with everyone, at least a bit. The tides of politics are harsher, and not filled with Imbah. You can’t be imbah anymore. If you are imbah you are in a great lot of problems and therefore you will have to lay low to not be imbah if you want to survive. Nobody are invincible anymore and you are perfectly capable of doing many great things due to the human nature. Humans dominate the world and they are still devious, filthy power hungry creatures that tries to have power and push everyone aside and say that they are the best… except when something very big and scary comes… then help could be good… cowards!

In other words it’s now a lower fantasy genre, with much more difficulties and reality which makes the before impossible epic super imbah things not possible. There is still imbah things, only that they are so much “less imbah” than before. This will cause problems, especially for the young¹ because of my new standards. And with this cruel world to play in they will maybe have such a hard time that they may lose interest in RPG… which would be very sad if I drove them off, with a world where they didn’t like it. Well, that’s a future problem anyway.

Right now I’ve done lots of things with you while creating a profile. Most of you like the way I’ve done things I think. And when creating more depth I haven’t heard any complaints at all. This is of course very challenging, especially some of the moments when you have do describe things in a special way and do things according to a special method. The only thing I’m worried about is that I’m doing things too seriously and take them too seriously that you are actually find my obsession to be weird. If that’s so you’ve to tell me otherwise things will be very unpleasant for you if you don’t tell me about how you feel about it.

One information point, I’ve started to record your single-sessions. I use the recordings to write notes afterwards as well as to try to listen to how I sound and how I do things. I want to improve as well so the only way to do it is to profile myself. Everyone have been caught on my mic, and I warn you you will continue that way too. If you don’t like it well then we have a problem…

Other than this it seems like we have some sessions left with all of you before we can play together as a whole group again. I’ve said that earliest next Saturday, but I think that probably after Ankan’s exams and hopefully just before PB starts working again. Otherwise it will be in the middle of that period.

I hope you’ll use the blog more frequently. I will communicate here mostly, and that’s mostly because I find it easy to write things down and then go back to them when my memory becomes dull so what I’ve created will be the same instead of changing every time I get a new idea. One last note, if you want to hear on your single-session will let you. But I won’t allow you to hear others, so don’t even bother to ask.
