A Brief Pause

I’m almost sick at the moment so therefore I will postpone the session for Thursday and Friday and get back to you on Friday evening about the weekend. I need to rest to save up my power. I will try to sum up the results of the sessions so far too. However to avoid becoming sick for real I will just relax for a bit.

Well, I actually suspected that I would get sick when I first started bicycling around town feeling that it was pretty cold to not wear long-underwear. I stopped wearing them while in Japan when I realized that it was too warm there to wear them, I think thou that I’ll need to start using them again as well as proper gloves and not gloves without fingertips.

One other thing that may have contributed to this is also the fact that I’ve been running out of food the last few days and due to my reluctance to buy things I haven’t replenished my food for a while so right now I’m living on the free food I’ve managed to get so far. Yes I know, this is stupid and I should do something about it, but I will do something about it when I get better. Right now I need to rest a little and plan some things and finish some other stuff.

However this far I’ve gone through the preparation phase with everyone. I’ve started the first session with Ankan with a okay outcome even though he didn’t got what he wanted. But that’s life you can’t get everything. I was becoming ill when I was game mastering him so he couldn’t get my full strength but I think that some of my new methods were pretty clear. I’m a little bit disappointed though, I didn’t put as much energy in everything that I originally planned to do, but that was mostly because I had a fever and were pretty distraught and if you see it from that point of view I did a pretty good job. As for the others, we will play during Saturday and Sunday and most likely I won’t play with Ankan now when he’s bypassed the others but I’m not sure yet. So it’s just to wait and see I guess.

As for the Nianze Myths, it will be postponed this week. I need some slack right now and some of the chapters are bad enough written for the moment so I may need to revise them a little. But feel free to ask questions about the other chapters if you want to know anything in particular. I will probably be able to answer your questions so don’t worry. I will also say this¹ that many things have changed in the history even though it’s very subtle. Many things will have you believe that things are as before, but believe me, it’s not. As for the wars and its development and such things I haven’t worked them out yet. Right now I work from the original state and change the history as I go. This is also why you won’t get information about other cultures and societes like some of you crave for. I won’t feed you and your character information you don’t know. So it will only one country at the time.

As for the small group, I still haven’t worked out if we will play or not, and even though I may want to play we may not play depending on some things. It won’t help to nag about it. I will set some conditions right, but it will be when I have time and right now prio one is to get well and after that to play the remaining part with the big group. If you cannot accept this then we won’t play, I’m sorry.²
