Ame ga furu…
I’m not sure that that is right, but if I’m correct that should mean like “It’s raining”. Well, that only proves that I was right. But it’s only lightly so it’s nothing to worry about, yet. I hope it will clear up so we have I good day tomorrow. Well, right now Danielle is sleeping and the clock is soon 2 am and Oliver hasn’t come home yet. Well… today will most certainly be a short post. We haven’t even gone out of Kita-Urawa today. It’s been a relax day, even if it’s been just because of the bad weather.
We woke up around the same time and yesterday we bought breakfast so we started by eating. Due to the fact that we hadn’t taken a shower yet we started to plan to get one today. But we had to wait, three Swedish guests would arrive somewhere around 10:00 and if we were lucky we could go and borrow their shower (they obviously just live a few blocks away). But well, they didn’t arrive due to hangovers. One thing that we all seemed to suffer from today is fatigue and exhaustion for some reason. The day felt like a Sunday, just dull and grey. Things just went by slowly. Oliver thou wanted to take a shower, so he didn’t had time to wait till the Sento opened so he went out alone, again. I watched some series and then Danielle and I went to buy breakfast for tomorrow and buy some powder to the laundry machine. We also bought some salad stuff at a supermarket so we could make a salad, most likely the only common thing we both liked to eat.
When we got back started to finish some posts and then watch a episode before I decided not to wait for those Swedes so I went to the Sento by myself. But it was closed, I had forgotten that it opened up first at 16. So I wandered around in Kita-Urawa. It has a wonderful park that’s pretty big. One day, if time allows, I will relax there I think. I also went into the big supermarket they had… And god how surprised I was.
Okey, Japan have some different ways of doing things but this was even more different than I’m used to. A food store with… three floors and escalators and elevators? I mean, it’s like Willys or Kvantum would have been three times as big and have escalators and elevators…
This supermarket was huge and had all one could ask for. They even had lots of meat, most supermarkets I’ve been into this far only have pork and this even had ox and other similar meat. One other smart thing they had is that after you’ve paid you don’t pick down your food on the band, they had a little table not to far from the counter where you had much space and with free bags. I can se some benefits with this, as well as bad things that wouldn’t be good.
Well, the rest of day Danielle and I spent talking, eating, making salad and she slept quite much and meanwhile I watched something on my computer or wrote something. I later went to the sento and during that time Danielle found out that she had to move over to the Swedish apartment due to the fact that all there were girls and that they didn’t want to share it with a guy, and another guy were coming tomorrow. She didn’t like it, because she had become accustomed to me and Oliver and that we had planned so much together. But it worked out well at last I think.
Well, we attended to one of Miiko’s Tea Rooms too. We met with a local Japanese woman and talked about everything for about three hours while Miiko served tea. The conversation was in English but I had an opportunity to test my Japanese too. It was quite fun and we learned much on that time, that seemed pretty short. But we look forward to next Tea Room.
My plans are like this for the coming days;
Friday;
I’m going do follow Danielle to Chiba, this will take the whole day.
Saturday;
We will go to the concert about 16:00 and the event will probably last until morning, before that we was going to do some small errands.
Sunday;
In the morning I’m going with Oliver and Miiko to a Charity event. We will cheer for some hardworking Japanese that’s been doing something, then there will be free lunch!
On the day we’ll going to Harajuku to watch all Cosplayers, we are also checking out Shibuya. On the evening we’re going to a park in an other district to watch the Late Sakura Blossom (there are two types of Sakura blossom, the major one (which I missed by about a week) and the minor one that will have it’s peak this weekend.
That’s it. Finally I’ve caught up with my slack! By the way, the word journal is now 14 pages long, hehe. But then I have a new page for each day, so maybe it’s about 10 pages. Well, now I’m going to watch an episode and then turn off Linsuss.
Best regards,
Herid Fel
