Good Saturday

Today’s been a really great Saturday. It has been since I could relax this much on a Saturday, at least it feels so. I don’t know how it really is, but anyway, today was great. I woke up around 4 AM¹ so I decided to eat good today. A steady breakfast, where I unfortunately ran out of sour milk…

I cleaned up a little, and got rid of some junk and then played Silver and prepared some for today’s session for the kids. As you all know by know the joint-operation was canceled due to PB having a cold. We’ll probably play it next week instead… if everyone is fine by then…

However the session today with the kids went better than usual, even thou it wasn’t too special. The flow just felt better than usual, at least for me, I don’t know how Robert and Rasmus felt. In the end of the session they got into a battle against eight magicians, this was quite interesting actually. And the battle wasn’t as slow and boring as they tend to be either.

I got to test the new “co-casting” abilities for magicians and we got to see how the changes for tyniker worked out. It was quite ok, but the battle was quite fierce but Robert managed to damage them a good deal, thou some of the biggest damage came from the Minimeteor shower. Robert nearly died, as did Rasmus. One SLP is almost dead too. We will continue tomorrow but right now Krister (Robert) and Ekon (SLP) are severely wounded and unable to move far while Dagon (Rasmus) and Kenda (Undead, SLP) are the only ones able to fight. Krister needs to heal himself, which he plans to but Ekon is mortally wounded and near death so they are for the moment trapped hiding in the enemy base.

The plan was to silently assault their castle to take their revenge on the magicians who sent them to Terra Nova in the first place. This was all Krister’s plan from the very beginning but it seems like they didn’t expect the two remaining magicians to have help from the Nova’s elf magicians. So tomorrow we’ll se if they survive or not.

One other thing I got to see in action today was the SP-ability ‘Second Chance’. Dagon and Kenda had accidentally fallen down in a river while climbing a mountain and were very, very close to fall two hundred meters down a waterfall to their almost certain death. But Rasmus took the chance on the last save-roll and after an utter failure he succeeded with an perfect roll when he used the ‘Second Chance’. This is exactly how I want it to work!
First everything seems to be over and then, miraculously, they manage to survive without an reasonable explanation. It was a really great moment anyway, hehe…

The rest of the eve, the best part of the whole day, I spent at Forsbergs. Just playing games, talking and just relaxing in their basement and at the same time observing them. We took a fast trip to Kvantum too and Andreas even followed with us. All and all I greatly appreciated to spend this much time relaxing with those I like the most, felt really good. Had missed those times hehe…
But who knows, maybe this was the last? I surely hope not…
