Daily Report – Monday – 11/2 – 08

Today I’ve written a lot. First I went through both Ankan’s insightful comments on the Class-changes, and then I wrote down some of the thoughts of minor changes around the system. I wrote one post to declare that Ghost Hound is available and now I’m writing this.

Today should have been my first day on the VFU at Robert’s school, but it wasn’t. I got a message from our VFU-teacher that said that he was home with a sick kid so we¹ should just do some tasks at home and come tomorrow instead. So I’ve practically had the day off.

I tried the first part of the morning to fix a minor bug with my layout. I can’t write some characters. But well, at least the CTRL-shortcuts and such works. I managed to fix that… but then I was back without the shortcuts on the right places… I decided to stop trying to fix that and leaving it the professionals and instead have the lesser of two evils, the one with shortcuts instead.

Needless to say, I’ve written the posts today which took an awful lot of time. Other than that I’ve been fixing around with Yurin, I reformatted her last eve. I need to reinstall some programs on Linsuss, but other than that she’s working perfectly! I like her a lot. She’s really neat and slim, and weigh almost nothing. And she is really mobile too. PB complained a lot about her name and that her fan actually makes sound. But he don’t know a damn about what he’s talking about. Her fan isn’t the most silent one you can get but it sure is silent, and it doesn’t work to much, depending on which mode you have her in. And her screen is crystal clear and little which suits me fine. And she’s fast and have pretty OK specs and everything works. Considering I’ve only paid 6000 SEK to get a laptop this small she’s extremely worth it. 12”’s laptops are often very, very expensive and haven’t often these specs. I mean I got 2gb of RAM with her, a 160 GB HDD and a integrated graphics with 256 MB graphic memory…
If someone says that Linsuss isn’t worth the cash, they are complete fools and are not worth any respect when it comes to computer _what-so-ever_.

And the blog have come to new heights! The previous week I had the most visitors ever since the startup and it seems like the tight visits are holding, for now. We are closing in on 2000 visitors since the start and about 285 posts in total. It’s pretty good.

And about the new player. This week isn’t the best to introduce someone, so next week will probably be Emil Hedemalms entry. I will skip Backteman for now, but maybe in the future.

The past few days Foppa and Robert have been here from time to time. It’s pretty entertaining and it’s very funny to have Robert running around fooling with everyone and play some games with him too. Well, I’ll always appreciate to have them around even thou Foppa were a little bit anti-social this Sunday with both MP3 and a book. But well… as long as he enjoyed himself.

Well, today I thought I maybe walk to Kvantum, but the dap passed… so now if I go there, I will probably take a car instead. I need to buy quite a lot and I’m not in the mood of walking now. So rest of the evening will probably be Persona or something else or maybe fixing more with Yurin. Who knows what may happen.
