A Good Saturday

Ahh, yet another post posted the day after it was posted…

Confusing? Well, I guess not…

Yesterday (today) I thought of writing a post, but after a phone conversation with PB I decided to write it today instead and play Rouge Galaxy instead. Well, today I think I will break up the post in topics so it’s easier to say the things I wanted to say about the things I wanted to tell you about… or something like that.

Animeshow
The new WANO had decided to have a show today. I was very skeptical, due to the lazy arrangements and the long time it took for them to go from word to action. But finally they pulled it off. Yesterday (Friday) they picked up the tables and chairs from here and I followed them there to just give them some easy instructions about how things worked over there. That went fine so it was just to go home and wait for the big day, today.
Around 2 pm I decided to go check on them and se how they were progressing and found a very pleasant surprise.
They had gotten themselves about thirty visitors and the show was going very well. The board was very happy to the fact that the show was going that well and enjoyed the atmosphere of success. I gave my compliments, but I also complained a lot, obviously, but I was very impressed. Thou the choice of series could have been better.
All and all they had about forty visitors, and were very happy to have gathered some founds to spend on the next show. This time thou, they wanted me to have a word about the choices of series, due to the fact that I complained about that extra much. And obviously not many liked the series.

Role-playing
We started the new political social game part in Nianze too this evening. This went very well. We also didn’t play with any dices, trying to describe all our actions while I decided how the reactions and results would turn out in the end. This was very fun, and went very well, thou some in the group was a little absentminded due to headaches and just needing to rest a little. But I thought that this was one of the best sessions in a long time, and the first session that I actually felt very motivated and socially active from the beginning to the end.
One thing with this is that we need to continue this very soon, or I’ll lose the motivation and everything to continue just this part of the political game, which isn’t good.

Rouge Galaxy
This RPG is to PS2 and I find it, right now, very good. It’s one of the first RPG’s that I’ve felt have a good balance of story and battle, and with battle that actually is enjoyable, and durable throughout the game. Thou the bosses are quite though to beat when one shall control three characters, and if you give them free reins they use up all the potions!
Thou I’ve just recently learned how to control that.
As all the RPG’s I’m playing I don’t like others to be around when I’m playing them. This is solely due to the fact that I don’t like when people know what I’m taking from other games and movies. I just want people to know that I have adapted things, not to know about them. This is just a feeling, not something reasonable, and I therefore tell people about most of the series and games I play and take things from. So they can get a better picture. But know that this is how I really feel, and therefore have some understanding when I use my principle to not say the series I’m watching and which game I’m playing until I find myself ready to do so.
