Energy Drinks and Anime
I really feel like when I drink an energy drink… I somehow get more motivation for some certain things. Like role-playing or other similar things. Combined with tea and coffee my creativity seems to rise quite a bit…
This may be just a placebo effect, but even if it is… I get it eight times out of ten and so what if it is placebo, it’s still there and that’s the only thing that matters. But then again according to wiki and other encyclopedias this effect is normal.
However, today I brought a pack of twenty four energy drinks when I was shopping some food, they had insanely good prices1, and well, I took one when coming home.
One other thing of today is that my Anime-lust has returned!
Not as big as four years ago, but well, more than it has been the last year when I’ve only seen about three animes and not have to much appetite to watch so much anime at all and instead turning to western TV-series for inspiration for improvement in Nianze.
So I have some tips to those who like anime to watch the following new series (2007)
Baccano! – A mysterious mafia-like anime. It’s a story they tell so every episode tells a little bit of the story here and there so you get to puzzle it all together to get the whole piece, very interesting to watch if you like series who repeats the same scene from different perspectives a number of times.
Devil May Cry – For those who have played the games this may be interesting, but I haven’t and I still think they are interesting. It’s not just a hack’n’slash anime but also about some feelings. It’s worth to see but not absolutely the best anime ever. But it has some great things to give if you give it a try.
Shigurui – Yet another interpretation of the novel The Kouga Ninja Scrolls written by Futaro Yamada back in the 50ties. This thou seem to focus on just two of the fighters, and not the two clans. As far I as have seen it’s a more bloody and violent version that the other two I’ve seen (Shinobi and Basilisk) and as mentioned, not focused on the clans war, rather on the fight between two of the characters from the book. It seems pretty good.
The Skullman – This is a pretty good anime about mystical deaths in an isolated town. The plot seems pretty good and it’s pretty fun too. I haven’t finished it but it’s all out there. Not much to say other than it contains both violence as it does a pretty good plot and mysterious wonders. It has an live action pre-episode too, but it wasn’t all that good.
So let’s se how long my Anime-strike will last.
Those who have access to the server, I will put up some promos in the promo folder and even update with some new goodies to watch to.
And who knows, maybe I write about more animes too.
Best regards,
