Upcoming Changes for Nianze version 6.94

A LOT of changes have been done recently without any notice here. But now I’ll write down some of the upcoming major changes in both system and formula. I may even put up some thoughts I’m considering. I won’t be too specific but I will give you something to think on.

System Changes:

  • All Learner abilities will be replaced with new abilities. These are Blue Eye, Educated Mind and Iron Will
  • The ability High Presence will be changed a little, amongst some of the other abilities that directly change a value, like Agility and Fast Reaction
  • The Abilities Ki Adept and Magical Proficiency have been changed to increase the gain of Meditation and Multitrans
  • Lantor will have Good Durability and Icea will have Blue Eye
  • Some minor changes on the class abilities, mostly dealing with the damage
  • The Ritual arts will be removed from the Arts and become usable for Priests only, but with no skill needed, their new class skills is yet to be determined
  • Weapons no longer have Basic Techniques, instead you now use the basic properties to determine how good you are with your weapon, with exception for Hireswords
  • The maximum you can start with in Special Abilities is now 10 instead of 12
  • Unarmed will be changed a little
  • The Battle Stances have will be changed a little
  • The new Mental Pentalty and Bonus system will have changed a little
  • Some new cool stuff of doom and darkness

Formula Changes

  • The Character Description will be reduced or removed completely, a bonus paper for those who wants it will be available
  • Abilities and Special Abilities will be reduced to names, level and FP only
  • This is still uncertain but most likely Character Description will be replaced by a field where you collect Benefits and Penalty’s
  • Due to the reduction of Basic Techniques, this field have been removed and a new field where you will write down your sicknesses and critical damages

I think that’s all…
