Description of the Attributes and their use

I will now write a brief explanation of the attributes. What they are, what they change, and what they can be used for.

The Physical Attributes
These attributes determines the characters physical strength and weaknesses. It also affects how you character looks and acts in some ways. It doesn’t necessarily need to be like that, but your physical attributes should reflect your character as well as possible. So it would be wise to have them to fit your character description as well as possible.

Charisma (KAR)
Charisma determines the characters ability to mediate his or hers feelings, temper, thoughts and it controls what kind of impression others get of the character. It controls what aura the character emits and how easy it’s to sense it. With high KAR it’s easier to scare, taunt, comfort and make a strong impression on people but it’s hard to suppress ones aura and you will be noticed easier in crowds. With low KAR you have trouble to make people take you seriously or to make them listen to you or to hide your feelings from others. The positive thing is that your aura will be easier to suppress and you won’t attract as much attention.
This attribute changes the characters ability to interact with people, and to lead or get the result he wants. It’s useful and very important when lying or trying to looking more powerful or weaker than the character really is, in other words it’s a powerful attribute in social situations.

Endurance (KON)
The characters endurance determines the characters performance physical activities, the ability to resist poisons and sickness and the body’s ability to resist, absorb and neutralize strange substances and sicknesses. It also influences speed and how much damage the character can take before going down.
It can be useful to have high KON when running, climbing, swimming and when singing and to resist damage from poison. In short KON determines what the character have the energy to do and for how long.

Physique (KRO)
Everyone has muscles, but how much and how dense they are is determined by this attribute. Your character may look like a body builder, but still have pretty low KRO, so appearances doesn’t necessarily need to have much to do with your properties, but it should at least reflect a little of your character. High KRO may be a very big character looking like Arnold Schwarzenegger or a small one with stone hard muscles looking something like Bruce Lee. KRO determines how durable the character is as well for how much damage he can take before getting seriously hurt. It affects the healing rate as well as for the effect of critical wounds.

Precision (PCN)
Coordination between eye and hand determines ones natural ability to aim, sign and to pick with small tricky things, like painting small figures or to tie a knot. The balance between sense and performance as well as how steady one are on the hand.
PCN is the key attribute for successful close combat skills and for the ability to parry and meet an attack to later counter. PCN seldom determines something on distance but things that just goes in a straight line, like a beam or whip is determined by PCN.
PCN change how good one can handle melee weapons and can also be used to picky tasks.

Reaction (REA)
The speed and reflexes of the character is determined by REA, one of the most basic survival skills that are vital for many actions. How fast one may act and how much one may act determines by REA as well for the ability to avoid certain dangers.
Rea is pretty basic and much needed for the survivalists, and with low REA an adventurer seldom survives long in Yurin. How fast you realize to how fast you are able to react to how good you react in hasty situations when a fast decision is vital is determined by REA. Without REA, many would die easily against any foe that doesn’t fight in the open, and would most certainly die in dangerous areas where the environment is dangerous by itself. REA can be used in many situations to gain a bonus as well as just for the privilege to act at all.

More is coming, have been busy to update things and to move the blog…

If you want to know what attribute that is used during a special situation, post this and I’ll will answer which attribute that probably would be used in that situation.
