The New Campain
The day before yesterday, Wednesday, we finally finished the last campaign that decided the end of the war. The campaign was made in a funny, non-real environment that just should decide an approximate way of the war, due the lack of time to play the whole scenario.
I’ve still not written anything to describe how it all turned out but I’m working on it.
But yesterday while I was out working with the paper in the morning a explosion of ideas for a new start campaign came into my head. It will be a campaign of about ten to twenty game sessions, and will just be the first thing that happen to bind the players to each other and to start a new world plot.
Unlike my regular way of playing I’ll try to have everything planned and written down in beforehand and decrease the improvising rate. But after this campaign I will probably go back to my regular way with just some events planed a major storyline and then create events as they go.
The only problem will be to keep everyone alive all the time without unrealistic turn of events. It’s a lot more fun when everyone survives naturally and the story is able to continue without new characters jumping in all the time. But well, that’s the way it is and it wouldn’t be fun if it wasn’t possible to die.
However, the coming weeks I’ll try to write down some new updated information about the rule system, and I’ll also try to finish some stuff that need some concrete information so the players can read and understand some things. I may even need to switch some things and change others.
Well, that’s one of the biggest advantages as well as the biggest flaws with playing a RPG in development.
However, I’ll now go and sleep a couple of hours before going out with newspapers again.
Best Regards,
Herid Fel
